IE v 6.0 - Lost 'Home' and 'Refresh' buttons

  Charlie Babbage 22:51 01 Jul 2006

I've added the Google toolbar to IE v 6.0. I'm not sure whther it is due to that but I now don't have the 'Home' and 'Refresh' buttons that appear on the standard IE toolbar, nor do the 'Foward' and 'Back' buttons appear.

Any advice as to how to retrieve these buttons would be much appreciated.

View>toolbar>customise, should be able to put them back from there..

Many thanks Santos7!

I've gone to View> toolbars> cutomise and the buttons I want do appear in the right hand panel but are not displayed on the toolbar itself.

Any other ideas to try would be appreciated.

I'm having problems controlling my mouse pointer at the very top and bottom of the screen. For example, it is very difficult to select 'Customise' from the drop down menu View > Toolbars > Customise and to select 'Shut down' from the 'Start' button. I'm running Windows XP Professional SP2.

The mouse does not need cleaning. Altering the speed of the pointer does not make any difference. Is there anything else to try before giving the present mouse to the cat for breakfast??!

Is the Google toolbar overlaying the Standard button bar ? Try unlocking the toolbars and drag them around a bit, see what appears.
