IE Start page Hijack program won't go away

  Tony_B 16:53 19 Jun 2004

A hijack program has grabbed my IE start page. I have installed and run Spybot 1.2 but that didn't help much.

I have also tried Ad-aware 6.0 - this did find the command line in the Registry Start page and it was deleted, however the damn thing keeps coming back. How do I get rid of this annoyance.

I have tried running all of the above in safe mode as well.

Secondly as a result of using Ad-aware the following were also deleted.

On start up I get an error message with regard to c:\windows\system32\bridge.dll as the computer can't run it. How do I get rid of this

Your help will be greatly appreciated

.....and how would 'Enigma' stop hijacks? I cannot see how as it is only an IE skin with less features that Avant browser.
