IE slow to start - dilemma

  nedrick 12:59 04 Jan 2008

I only recently installed Java on my PC as there was a few applications online I needed it for. However, since the installation, IE has been very slow to start-up and even opening a new window has been a long process. I temporarily unistalled Java and IE has sped up again but then I can't use Java applets online. Anybody know of any reason for this or how I can do both?

Java can sometimes cause problems with opertaing speed. I suggest you uninstall it again, and then run Ccleaner click here before reinstalling it again. Make sure you have the latest version for your system. Might be an idea to disable your Anti Virus and Firewall while you reinstall, but remember to activate them again before you go back online.
