Hi all,

since i have installed Kazaa, everytime i use internet explorer 6, annoying popups seems to be spring up all over the place, even when i have the kazaa not running.

how do i get rid of them without having to uninstall kazaa?

many thanks.

Don't think that you can! This is just one of the problems with these type of programs. J.

Uninstall Kazaa, and find a program called kazaalite - this does not have all the pop-up / spyware nonsense, but is functionally the same as kazaa.

Uninstall Kazaa and remove all folders relating to Kazaa. Install Lavasoft's ad-ware remover then run this. Install Kazaalite but beware the new version contains popups. You'll need to find the old version to be completely popup free.

Or alternatively, install kazaa Diet click here . This program removes spyware and Ads from Kazaa.

Apart from anything that kazaa is supposed to do, it also doubles as the ideal medium for distributing viruses, worms, trojans, spyware and every other undesirable thing you could possibly not want in your computer. Be wise, give it a miss!!
