IE & MSN Explorer

It seems that Internet Explorer and MSN Explorer are nearly the same, or are they ?? Is there any need to have both?

Hi, no need to have both, I would advise just use IE.

PS - I use IE and Firefox. I have MSN UK as my Home page, and with a Google bar for searches.

So really I can uninstall MSN Explorer. This came up because I had a Vista compatability check with Microsoft and they recommended that I install 'MSNSUII.exe. I found out that it is a MSN installer wizard for MSN explorer

Well, I don't know about Vista - I am on XP. But I think also it is just because M'soft would prefer you to use their products rather than others. As I said I use MSN as my Home page in IE and FF, but I don't use MSN Explorer. I still don't see that you actually need it, even in Vista.
