IE Homepage hijacked

  stoner 19:25 09 Feb 2005

Anyone out there know how to get rid of spurious search engine which I can't get rid of, directing me to places I don't necessarily want to go(!) on my IE (XP Pro SP1) screen.
Funnily enough the page address isn't displayed in the addresss bar!
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
