IE 6 Blocking download

I want to download Adobe flash player, but get ...message IE had blocked this download...
How do I set IE to allow download.

Probably.Tools.Internet options.And reset all zones to default level.

Thanks. cannot try that yet as it is hubbys laptop that has problem, and he needs to use it right now.

How is the message displayed? Usually it is a ribbon across the top of the window saying something like "IE has blocked this download for your own protection - click here". When you click you get various options, one of which is to download the file.

I know what you mean, but it did not give any options, just said IE has blocked this download

Try using Firefox browser and then use it to download both Firefox and IE7 versions of Flash Player.

I will use firefox I read that it is more secure than IE6
