hello

just reinstalled Mac OSX on my ibook now when it loads up it crashes after a few mins and then when ireboot it just gets past the loading screen to the login screen but then nothing happens, i'm going to try and install it again to see if afterwards it'll work

I know very little about iBooks, but when that sort of thing happens on a PC the first thing I'd look at is memory.

I've noticed that if a windows reinstall fails, replacing the RAM can sometimes fix it.
I've even had a case where a reinstall failed because of faulty RAM on a VGA card.

there is a hardwaretest disk, i might try that then

it passed everything in the hardware test s i do not see a reason to why it should not work

if it is left off for a long time it loads up into the desktop then crashes..i guess i could op it up n take a look at the ,emory
