I have just purchased an IBM Thinkpad A21P. I also have a Canon MV5iMC digital video camera. The Thinkpad has two connectors on the bottom right hand side. Video-in and Video-out. I have downloaded the manual in pdf format, and checked the IBM site, but I cannot find any info regarding these two sockets. Can anyone give me any idea if they can be used to connect the digital video camera, to download the films, and then edit them using video editing software, such as Ulead, or Pinnacle? The lead that I have with the camera will fit the plugs..... but if I connect the cam to the laptop, can I damage either of them if they are not the correct sockets?

I forgot to mention in my post, that I have read the manual, that came with the digital camera, and nowhere does specifically give details on how to connect the camera to a pc.........Why can't manuals be simple and easy to read, and answer the questions that you need answered!!

;o(((
