IAA on SIS chipset? not possible is it?

Hiya all, i have a Pentium 4 motherboard, running on a SiS655 chipset. Until recently i thought that Intel Application Accelerator was only for intel chipset boards.

I am right aren't it? you can't use IAA for SiS chipset boards can you?

This site says that you must have a supported Intel chipset click here.

Yes the IAA is for intel chipsets. You need the SiS equivalent.

SiS always refer you back to the motherboard manufacturer for the correct drivers, and disclaim any liability should you download the generic drivers from their site.

The SiS 655 is the Northbridge and controls click here.

There will be a Southbridge that acually controls the Hard Drives, probably an SiS 963.
