I was wrong about IE 7 Beta

A few weeks ago I tried IE7 beta, and I was disappointed, in fact so much so I uninstalled it after about 1 hour.Today I decided to give it another try, and after spending some time configuring it to my liking I have found it really very good. If anyone felt the same as me (and there were quite a few) give it another try and see how you feel.

I'll wait till its out of Beta testing before giving it a go, I really mucked up my PC a couple of years ago with a Beta program and would rather not go through that again.

Thanks crx1600, that may well be the reason that I now find it better.

I thought the beta was just for developers to test out.

Alpha testing is the testing done by the developers.

and Beta is done by the general public.

I see.

How's it compare to Firefox??

dogbreath1, I think very well.

I've used the beta for a while but I keep returning to Firefox. I like the look of IE7 but I'm still trying to figure out how to enable simple features like bookmarks from an accessible pull down menu à la firefox. Is it even possible? Maybe I need to spend more time with it.

rawprawn,I was under the impression that once IE7 was installed you could not remove it.
This is obviously not the case, did you have any problems?
