i want to capture and edit video HOW?

i want to be able to capture and edit analouge video from things like video recorders. ive seen some stuff on the internet but its a ripp off and the software looks rubbish. any ideas anyone?-+

I use a belkin videobus, it is usb, have a look here click here
I bought mine a couple of years ago either from staples or pc world, it works great with my analogue camcorder so highly recomended, you will need video editing software, if you get one, play around with iot as it comes as us standard so need to set it tp pal

I use Adaptec 2210 USB capture device to get my VCR tapes onto my PC.
Adaptec 2210 comes complete with MyDVD 4.5 & Arcsoft editing software.
I've found the Adaptec equipment very good, but would suggest upgrading to the latest version of MyDVD (Version 6), and using Nero for editing instead of ArcSoft
