I tunes access privilage problems

  FatboySlim71 11:05 24 Feb 2006

When I load up I tunes and go into edit menu, preferences, select playback tab then alter sound enhancer option, then click on ok, I get a window appearing saying "AN ERRROR OCCURED WHILE UPDATING THE DEFAULT PLAYER FOR AUDIO FILE TYPES. YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ACCESS PRIVELAGES FOR THIS OPERATION" the thing that is puzzling me is that I am an administrator, so I would have thought I would have all the rights to do what I wanted. I have Windows XP Professional.

Have you logged in as an Administrator to perform this task?

I have logged off and then clicked on my name to log back on but I still have the problem, I dont know if this will matter but me and my girlfriend use my PC and we are both down as administrators, dont know if that makes a difference as on my old pc we were both administrators and I tunes worked fine.
