My I pod works fine on my original laptop, I now have a new laptop & wish to transfer files , the new laptop wants to wipe the I pod prior to allowing any other operation ? How do I retain my my library from the I pod - using my new laptop ? Also - is there a method by which I can have 2 seperate libraries on the laptop with I Tunes ? Thanks.

Copy the IPod music files to your new pc, easiest with a USB memory stick. Just copy the ITunes folder in My Music on your 1st pc. Thats what I have done re my desktop and lpatop. Not sure about your second point.

Forgot to say that you will need to authorise the second pc for use with ITunes. Go to the menu and select Store then Authorise.

Cannot understand why people still put up with Apple nonsense about using an ipod on more

than one computer seeing that I paid for the iPod total crap by Apple

Download this program will allow you to copy your iPod music onto as many any computer as
