Is it the "look" of XP your not happy with. You can choose between Classic and XP modes. Classic being win98 style. Just go into your Task and Start menu properties.

I'm a bit confused! You say " dont have the xp disc my computer came with it pre installed" and "I have windows xp and i want to get my pc the way it was when i first installed it."

I'm not sure whether you have an XP disc or not! However, if your computer came with XP installed, surely you have a "recovery" disc (or whatever it may be called). The idea being that you can take your machine back to it was when it left the factory.

OK - what is your pc brand? Some come with a hidden partition on the hdd and a floppy which allows you to see this partition, reinstall windows etc.

hp come with system recover on the hard drive, no floppy. Someone mentioned to me F10 on start-up will find it. You will lose all your data.

Just found it, put system recovery in search, double click it, it will ask if you want to go ahead.
