Hi
I've got an .avi movie that plays fine but there is no sound. I'm guessing I need to install an audio codec for it.
I've looked here click here click here
What do I need to download? And which is the best codec pack to download?
Thanks

Should have said: download the whole pack and Windows will sort out which one(s) it needs. If there is still now sound it is likely that the AVI file is corrupt.

Download JetAudio (free)

The K-Lite codecs pack (Standard version), mentioned by Thalmus, will provide virtually everything most people ever require.

i have the same thing, ive just installed vista primium from scratch but the video is jittery at full screen, is this k-lite good as well as containing everything?

I wouldn't be without k-lite, it has all the codecs you will need.
