I know I'm dim - page size question!

Took mco's advice and downloaded Serif 6.0 - which seems fairly user-friendly (but not amazingly so).

It offers 2 standard page sizes or custom. Set up a custom (800x950) page which then didn't cover the whole window when I opened it in my browser.

Is there a trick to get round this, or do I neeed to go and get a better website builder?

I think maybe it's Serif and not you; all other web authoring software will code the page in such a way that an image will be tiled or a background colour will fill the screen and it does not matter how small the page width is. That only affects page content.

I don't want to criticise Serif though, as I have never used it.
