PopUp Stopper is very effective.

Stuartli or crx16: excuse my ignorance, but once popupstopper has been downloaded do I need to do anything more or does it just function automatically?

  crx16 14:51 14 Apr 2003

once installed,start\programs\panicware\free popupstopper.

once running you should have an icon in the tray,of a 'pointing finger'. right-click on it and put a tick next to 'block pop-up ad windows' and thats it.

if you right-click the icon and choose properties\pop up notification, you can enable it to show a message/sound as windows are blocked.

you will need to disable it to view some sites.

Thanks crx: 10 minutes is a long time on the forum. I have installed it OK, but on the two sites visited so far - the PCA forum and Yahoo mail - still getting pop ups.
