now I have uninstalled it.

Can anyone tell me what this software programme called Python actually does or did as I have uninstalled it. Is it really needed ? Perosnally I feel it was some kind of Spyware or Adware

I looked at the site via link but didn't understand it much, bit to techie for me.

Really just want to know if this software can be removed and not cause any problems within windows xp on a pre-install HP Pavillion system. I feel its a spyware/adware/system hog.

Does anyone know if Python can be removed without doing any damage from Add/remove programmes in xp please

Hi, I would suggest that this program is not needed and that it is safe to delete it entirely.

I know from past expierience that WinXP works ok as a standalone software, just wondered if Python was linked to some hidden spyware treasure.
