I don't want to use Outlook or Express as emailer

Can s.o. advise me how to kill Outlook+/or Express. I prefer standard word for e-mail. I can see what I am writing clearly, my typing is naff and Word has autocorrect features others lack. or am I mistaken?
Any help appreciated

You can use Word as your e-mail editor in Outlook. Which version of Outlook do you have?

is that you can use Word as your email editor in Outlook 2003.

Outlook is the world's best email client, bar none, and with Word as your editor you'll have the best of both worlds. You don't need to 'kill off' Outlook Express - just leave it, and don't use it.

As a matter of interest, the new version of Outlook - part of Office 10 - which I'm currently beta testing has auto-correct built in.
