Hyperlinks won't launch my browser

  Mr. Chips 08:12 01 Feb 2007

I am using Firefox.
When clicking on a hyperlink in an email, the Internet browser no longer automatically launches.
I can't see any settings in Firefox to cover this.
Neither will Explorer 6 nor Deepnet launch.

... and I have not installed Explorer 7.

Any ideas please?

P.S. a work-around is to cut and paste the link ... but I would rather get the browser to automatically launch with the link in the address bar.

In the past I've googled, found the same links that Diodorus Siculus suggests and more but they didn't work for me. Eventually I gave up. Hopefully someone else on the forum can help?

I have tried the solution proposed by Diodorus Siculus but, like Luthier, I had no luck.

Thanks Diodorus Siculus for your post.
Anyone else got an idea?
