All of a sudden the last couple of days I find I have a problem accessing hyperlinks from my emails. I am using Outlook Express through WindowsXP Home SP2.

Everything was fine until a couple of days ago. I dont know what happened, but if I click on any hyperlink to go to that site from an emai, I just get a double "bleep" on the computer. Or should I say I get a "bleep - bleep".

Anyone have any ideas how to get it back to normal please?

If you have a pop-up blocker try holding down CTRL and clicking.

Or click here which applies to OE as well.

Going through the usual process is a matter of looking at what has happened between then and now.

The first aspect to look at: have you installed any new applications since it started going awry?

If so, try an uninstall first, then try a system restore.

Well Vog, thank you for the quick response. Yes I hadent realised, I have just been given Mcafe with a pop up blocker. Your first suggestion works fine. Thank you very much for your help.

Glad there are people around like yourself to help us novices get more experience. Thanks
