Hydravision-what a pain!

  herc182 08:48 07 Nov 2003

I have an ATI graphics card installed with the hydravision options available to me. I loaded the multidesk function (out of curiosity) and now every time i startup it is running in the taskbar. i unload it every time i start up (by right clicking on it and unloading) but it always starts up now. how can i stop it!!! i dont want it anymore. i tried uninstalling the drivers for the graphics card and control panel, but it still bloody runs!

Start XP then click on Start run type msconfig click on startup tab take the tick off the offending program.

Also make sure it is deleted from with in Add/Remove Programs

its been a while since i have used it but i think you can stop it loading by right clicking the tray icon

select "desktop manager" and in this screen ther should be an "unload desktop manager"button or similar.

it should not auto start now when windows does.

you will need to reload it via the same screen again if you want to use it.
