What are these files and are they important ??

hyberfil.sys reads at 511MB (thats half a GB ???) and pagefile.sys reads at 768MB ??

Does anyone know what they are for and are they ok to delete (or not) ??

thanks

is the amount of hard drive set aside to enable you to put your PC into hibernate mode, if you don't use hibernate then go into power management and turn it off.

pagefile.sys is your virtual memory, how much RAM do you have?

recommend getting rid of your pagefile. Try reducing the size of it if you need the space.
