HUGE picture file after recovery

Hi,

I was at my new grandaughter's at the weekend and taking the obligatory pictures. The following day, the SD card failed so I purchased a new one.

I today formatted the old card & used the file recovery program CampicRestore as recommended here - but one of the photos is absolutely huge at 635 Mb. Other pictures from the same card are measured in Kb. This is NOT a movie, just a JPEG!

How can I reduce this so that I can then get the picture printed? This one file almost fills a CD :o)

TIA

Paul

See how it does by resizing it in your photo editor & saving it.

That is an odd one though - 635Mb for a single file! G

Paint.NET if you haven't one click here. Use the Image > Resize feature. G

Hi Crossbow 7,

I agree - never seen this before!

Downloaded Jstrip from click here file now 740 Kb!
