HS cleandisk pro - any views on its usefulness?

I've just come across this on a cover disk, have installed and run it - it claims to have found loads of unnecessary files (and fewer, but still some, outdated registry entries). I've set a restore point, but before I wipe them (they all seem sensible for wiping), i thought it sensible to ask if anyone out there has experience of using this utility?

if so ..effort does not warrant results.. all you need is Spider by Ward van Wanrooij - [email protected]
if you use IE ..
and jv16 PowerTools.. IMHO.

I don't think it is the same as cleanup (but I can't get the link to work!). Thanks for the comments re jv16 powertools though, which I will chase
