hp print problem

  Newuser584 21:21 12 Aug 2007

When I print a 6x4 with 6x4 paper I get a 1/2 inch white band at the end of print.I have made sure I`ve chosen the 6x4 and not the 6x4(tab) option but it still leaves this band.

I think unless you have a printer that can print without margins then it is normal for this band to be there. Can you look in "print preview" this should show how the final print will look.

Thanks for the replies.
HCOOH, printer prints borderless, except for 6x4. Brother-in-laws had the same problem but that was some years ago.....thought by now there it would be resolved by know......
ambra, have tried every combination but it still has this bar. According to the web site its for 6x4 paper with a perforated 1/2 inch strip to tear off.......
^wave^, hp printers never again. Already had problems with print carts, had to replace colour one after only 90 prints because the yellow wouldn`t print. I can feel a hammer moment creeping up on me.........
