HP photosmart 8250

I have one of these printers and it is excellent, but does use a lot of quite expensive ink. What is really annoying is that when an ink cartridge is getting low a pop up message keeps appearing to warn me to replace cartridge soon. This is driving me mad. Does anyone know a fix to turn off these reminders?

I'm not sure if this is what you want:- in the "HP Solution Centre", go to "Settings", "Print Settings", "Printer Toolbox", click on the "Configuration" tab and untick "Display Ink Status Window".

"Photo Glossy" - click here=*HP108* Do a good price on "HP" ink for the "8250.

Thanks for that - that display ink status button was already unticked actually. But thanks for the ink supplier link - prices look good and will try them next time I need to order,
