HP Pavilion Upgrades

Hi I recently bought a HP Pavilion TX 1000. I am looking to make the machine run faster. I have already ordered 2GB ram to increase from 1GB. Any advice on what else I could change? Main details below. Thanks.

nikki2007,

it is very difficult to upgrade many laptop parts, aside from ram, hard drives and, it is possible to upgrade an optical drive, with a little bit of patience.

Your processor is a decent laptop model, and the only drawback I can see, would be the grahics, which in most cases, are inbuilt to the motherboard on a laptop.

the memory will speed things up, thats all you can do.
