Hi, I own an hp pavilion dv6815nr, and everything is great but I'm having problems with the ventilator wich never stops sounding, it starts when I turn on the notebook, sometimes it doesn't, but soon it starts again. How can I fix this?
thanks for the help

if you mean the fan comes on more than you'd like it to you could try going into power options, change plan settings, then advanced power settings, processor power management, maximum processor state and change from 100% to 70 or 80% a bit of a trade off for a bit less power for a bit less fan noise.

Yeah, I was trying that, but still. A friend of I has a similar notebook and the fan is never running as loud as mine. So I can't figure why his doesn't run so loud at all while mine does

it can depend on what you are using it for, running power hungry games or other apps, even room temperatures, running multiple things at the same time.
