HP Drop Down Menu

  SURVEY 10:43 31 Dec 2007

Is everyone getting the very annoying HP Drop Down menu in the centre of the PC Advisor screen? This blocks the screen until one scrolls down and closes it. I have a Popup blocker but this ad still appears.

FE has posted on this and tried to block all future discussions until he has tried to sort it out. I have used ad block in Firefox and no longer see it !

PS Should have said see Consumerwatch forum pages.

I have Firefox. I cannot find out how I use ad block. Can you help please.

  SURVEY 12:19 31 Dec 2007

Nuts - Sorry I had not realised the FE had already posted on the subject. If he is trying to sort it out then I shall leave it to him. It really is irritating. Just how ineffective are the ad and pop-up blockers! Hurry up FE and block this at the server please.

Maj - I am not happy with having to copy all those lines out!!

Copy and Paste.

MAj - appreciate that but should not have to do so and PCA should put a stop to this sort of very intrusive advertising at source. No other web page causes this grief to me and would put me off buying another HP Product!

I cannot understand that having Spybot and Ad-Aware and a pop-up blocker running why this should occur. Surely either Spybot or Adaware should stop this?

  johnnyrocker 13:00 31 Dec 2007

and you will have no probs.
