How to write into powerpoint during a presentation

Does anyone know if this can be done?

I am in the middle of a power point presentation, displaying it and moving through each "slide". I want to use one slide as a flip chart - in other words, I want to type ideas and have them appear on the screen during the presentation.

The version I'm using - te one that came with Office 2007

Not sure that it can be done by typing (wait for someone to tell me otherwise). You can of course change your pointer to be able to draw and write using the mouse during a presentation.

Sounds as if you want an interactive whiteboard.

I think you're probably right.

I am thinking at the moment that if I cannot easily find a way to to what I want, I can have word running in full screen in the backgrond and type directly into that.
I like the idea of wriing using the mouse but hey- that might be a skill too far!
