how to use lotus to read microsoft *.pps files

Help !
My computer XP sp 3 and I have downloaded IBM lotus which has software for spreadsheet.
I wish to read emails which have *.pps attachments in Outlook Express. how can Lotus help me to read microsoft files.

.pps is not a spreadsheet, it is a Microsoft powerpoint presentation and usually run in conjunction with Word. You may have to use OpenOffice or something similar to display it, as I am not sure if your version of Lotus will support the format.

Lotus Symphony is essentially another form of Open Office, with IBM enhancements. click here

As such it contains the presentation module which should open .pps files. They normally won't autoplay like they do in Powerpoint itself, but you can readily start it playing from the menu.

You cannot download PowerPoint free - but PowerPoint Viewer which lets you open .pps files
