How to use Laptop TFT?

  Narayan Adhikari 08:42 12 Mar 2006

I have got a desktop box without any display unit. Can anybody suggest if I can use my laptop TFT display to use desktop box (??!!). I know I can take laptop display to other external monitor but I wonder if otherway round is possible.
Help will be appreciated.

Depends on the laptop. Does it have a 'Video In' socket?

I think it is possible but you really dont want to go down that route. If its for space saving then a 15 inch TFT for your tower wouldn't cost the earth or if not then a 15 inch CRT can be picked up very cheaply. Its a good idea using the lappy as a monitor but not easy to do from what I can see.
