how to remove microsoft .net framework pop-up box

Hey All! This is Crespo calling. Got a bit of an annoying problem that i'd like to get rid of. When waiting for my dial-up connection to "kick in" a microsoft .net framework dialogue box pops up. It says " an unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue & the application will ignore this & attempt to continue". It takes about 6/7 clicks to make this box disappear - really annoying! Anyone out there who can help me get rid of it permanently? Will be v. appreciated. Cheers. C.

Both your problems could be related. Do you have MS Messenger installed on the machine by any chance. This would run at start up and requires a .net passport I think - it would suggest that it hasn`t been installed compltely. Have you recently installed it or done an update for it recently?
