How to remove ATX motherboard power connector?

Replacing PSU. Cant get the main power connector off the board. Appreciate that I should be pressing down on the lever on the side and pulling. However it doesn't want to shift. Reluctant to use too much force.

Any tips?

thanks

this without pictures...however there is a clip that you hvae to press down on to release the connector so you can pull it up...

Anyone have any links to help I can't find any?

you might have to squeeze the lever in to release the clip at the bottom to remove the connector

thanks

tried pressure on top of clip and it does lift the bottom of clip off the "ledge" so looks like it should just pop off.....but it wont.

really frustrating as it looks like it should be so easy.

daft as it may sound it may well be glued in to stop it working loose, have a look at both ends to see if it has been spotted with something like a clear mastic.

sorted, managed to get small screwdriver in for a little bit of subtle leverage.

thanks for your help
