I installed Windows XP two days ago and now have to re-install because of HDD problem. Now in Microsoft's wisdom, the automated voice won't let me re-activate (thinks it is pirated) and tells me to go Microsoft.com/genuine where I can't get anything connected with re-activation but I could buy a new copy of Windows7. Ha Ha ha. Customer support takes me in a non-person loop so I can't resolve my problem.
Anyone got a suggestion of how I can speak to someone to rectify this.
My copy is genuine.
