How to play NTSC DVDs

I bought a DVD from HMV today but it turns out it is in NTSC format. I have two options; return it or get software to play it on my laptop. I currently have WMP and Realplayer installed on my laptop but neither will play it. Can anyone tell me what free software I could download that would let me watch it.

Thanks in Advance

You must have a DVD software installed before WMP can play a DVD - something like PowerDVD.

What do you have?

I don't have any DVD software installed on my laptop. Is there any free software on the net that I could download?

DVDs are strictly speaking, not PAL or NTSC - and either will play in either circumstance click here

Some DVD plyers - plenty more if you google. click here
