How to Play a game

  Luca M 18:40 23 Jun 2004

I have recently changed computers and the new one has a 17" TFT and the old one had a 15". When I try and play a game on the 17" the picture is way to big and all fuzzy. I have exactly the same graphics card and would like to know how to get the picture back to high quality again.

Sounds like the desktop resolution needs to be changed; look in the help section for your version of Windows.

I have changed the resolution of the screen to 1024x768 which is a 15" resolution but the same problem occurs

screen resolution of 1024x768 is not just for a 15" screen.

Have you set up the games vidio to suite the new display

ok i shall change to 1208x1024 and see if it works. I have also changed the game settings to suite the screen

you need to run everything at the monitor resolution. In the video setup in the game change to suit monitor.

I am. The screen is at 1028x1024 and so is the game. It is still very fuzzy.

Did you uninstall the old driver first? Check for latest driver on net. Uninstall old and replace with new driver. Wot game is it you have? OS pls.
