how to overclock 2600 amd

i just bought an abit nf7 mobo and amd 2600 barton with 512mb corsair pc3200 and iwould like to do a biy of tweaking can anyone give some advice, cheers

tiny, tiny increments in clock speed, etc, a massive heatsink and fan, and a large wallet for when it goes pop. :-)

good points again JonnyTub...but for me I have the 2500 and fully overclocked this babe to 3200 now running at 2.2GHz and at a cool temp of 40 degrees C and wont go above 46 degrees when going overload...and its using the same heatsink and fan that came with the there you go weeyin.

cheers guys i ve not tried to o/c before, i also bought a heatsink and fan that can cope upto 3200,is it worth it to try

up to you, the barton core athlon's are seriously overclockable monsters, but similarly they are fast chips without being o'c'ed.
