how to open & save a file/folder on a laptop

Hi! This is Crespo the L-driver once again requesting advice. How do i open a file or folder (i don't know which is which!) on my laptop to save pictures from the web for my football scrapbook? i.e a permanent file which can be opened & viewed any time which won't be accidentally deleted etc.Once again everyone - many thanx!C.

All files and Folders can be deleted, some harder than others. What is the operating system?

(folders save multiple files and the pictures will be files)

right click on image and select save image as.
a new window will open with a list of folders.
click on the folder where you want to save the image and that folder will open. type a name for the file into the box at the bottom then click save.
if you want a new folder right click in a blank area of the window and select new then folder. it will give you a new folder. type in a name for the folder and press the enter key
