How much is my pc worth?

Hi all, recently I have decided to get a new base unit and am looking to sell my old one.

I currently have a 4 year old Medion PC base unit, spec which i know:

P4 1.5 GHz processor
Motherboard - unknown (how do i check this?)
512Mb Ram
64Mb Geforce graphics card
40Gb Hard drive
Running windows XP
Standard cooling
Microsoft Office

No monitor but might include the peripherals (depends what i get)

How much do you think I could get?

£200-£250 if you're lucky

I think you would be lucky to get what Sibbo suggests. Don't forget, you must sell the original installation disks with it, or uninstall the progs, otherwise you are committing piracy. As hardware only, probably £100 - £150.

You're not going to charge your dad top dollar though, I guess! £100-£125 might be about right.

  SG Atlantis® 13:44 02 Mar 2006

£80 to £100.

  MidgetMan 14:48 02 Mar 2006

Be nice and give it to him.!

£100 sounds top dollar to me, especially without a monitor. After all, Medion PC`s are not in the high price category; and he is your Dad.

Look what he could get, "new", with printer and 24 month warranty, for £410.
