Is there any limit to the amount of memory that can be used with any Windows O/S PC, (other than by the constraints of the Motherboard,) as I have been advised that some Windows O/S are 'unhappy' working with over 512Megs.ThanksGugs
95, 98 and ME don't like more than 512MB.
XP can go to 4GB (2000 as well i think)
How much do you need. Mine runs every thing I throw at it, with 512mb with no bother. Don't see the need for any more than that!I imagin that Crucial will still take your money though, even that, they are a good company. It still makes them and others like them a healthy profit.
and I use a lot of graphics applications.
