how much extra memory can be added

my son has a new game which his old pc has not enough memory to play the game properly, how much extra can be safely added?
on board is 176meg ram amd duron 1.6 64 k sec memory (as provided by belarc) , sis 630/730 vga graphics unfortunately belarc did not specify board type, it is an oldish machine?

any other info needed?

If running win98se dont go above 512Mb win98 doesn't handle more properly.

XP will struggle with what you have, but realy need to Know the motherboard make - model to find RAm limit

unfortunately for some reason belarc has not come up with a board type

Download the selection program this will look at the machine in question and report the type of memory and the maximum that particular MoBo/CPU/OSB combination can handle.
