How much do you think this laptop is worth?

Hello guys, I've been asked by a friend to sell his laptop (as I am constantly selling pc stuff on eBay). However I'm not sure what a realistic price to expect for this laptop would be. It's a year old Asus F3Sa which cost just over £1000 new and has a year of warranty left. Battery still lasts as much as it ever did. It's spec if brief is:

Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2ghz
4gb DDR2 RAM
Mobility Radeon HD2600 512mb
250gb HDD
15.4" WXGA+ 1440x800 screen
Intel wireless & bluetooth

Considering the above average graphics card and screen resolution I was thinking ~£400ish, but could be way off the mark. Thanks for your opinions.

Think of the number you first thought of - then halve it!

You can get similar (4Gb RAM) for around £399 now. £250 and bite their hand off.

Haha, or rather, oh dear! Thanks for your thoughts. I think that it's better that he just hangs on to it. I'm not sure that you can get a laptop new for £400 with a WXGA+ screen and graphics equivilent to the HD2600 though- most are intgrated or lowly 3450s, 8400GSs etc.

Sorry to dig up this old thread! Thought I'd just say that my friend eventually did sell his laptop for £350, which I don't think is too bad considering what people estimated here!

Very well done indeed!
