How much??

  shaggy1965 15:35 05 Jan 2004

I'm buying a Duron 950 CPU and 2 sticks of 128 MB PC133 generic ram second hand...but me and my mate can't agree a price.

Any ideas?

A fiver - if he is a good mate and hard up give him a tenner.

Just the CPU and RAM or a complete (?) system ?

Check the online retailers for the current selling price and make him a reasonable offer. The 950 Duron is not worth very much, neither are the memory.

Just the CPU and RAM....yes

Thing is the prices vary sooo much on Ebay(best place to compare) it's hard to come up with a fair price!!

£10 for the processor and £13.50 for the memory.

If you don't mind, how much does he want and how much are you offering ?

We haven't haggled yet!!

I don't want to insult him and he prolly doesn't want to make me laugh!!

Oh and he's on MSN messenger with me this is LIVE help :)

New, the memory sticks are about £25 each and a slightly better CPU is about £20.

Note to your mate - give it him ,he will take you for a drink and you have a mate for life -charge him and it packs up next week and it has cost you a lot

We scrapped it out and I'm sending him £20 +P&P and I think I owe him a favour :o)
