How Many Ways Of Receiving Broadband Are There?

I want to be able to receive a broadband connection, but I don't want the hassle of having a cable line knocked into my wall or workmen to come and set it all up. Are there any other alternatives for high-speed access?

I thought that it was only possible to receive broadband through a cable line? From some of those links it would seem that it is possible through just a phone connection. Is this the case?

Yes if broadband is enabled in your area - you need to check with BT.

What you need is a BT phone line for most ISP's . .i.e. BT/pipex/virgin etc. or cable if you want a cable ISP. . .i.e. NTL
