How Many Pixels Wide do you Use...

I set my site to 800 pixels wide but I think I do that because I never browse full screen. I always use a window.

Should I take screen resolution into consideration? I set my monitor to 1280 x 1024. Before I set the page width to 1024 I thought a bit of advice would be good since anyone using 1024 x 768 will then need to scroll both ways.

I would like to add more content above the fold and the extra 200 pixels in width would allow me to do that.

Comments please...

I wouldn't make it any bigger

I try to keep it at 700 as I know there's still quite a few people who view at 800 x 600. Being 100 pixels less allows for the scroll bar.
