How to make PC wireless for use with BT Home Hub?

Hi there,

We need to adapt our PC to be wireless to use with the BT Home hub but don't know where to start in terms of what is the best way to go about this.

We're aware there are some compatability issues between adapters and routers, and so don't know what might work with the home hub. And we also don't know whether to go USB or PCI.

We use the PC for reasonably heavy downloads, and the connection is 8MG.

Any advice greatly appreciated...

Jennie

I would opt for an internal (PCI) wireless network adapter, but a USB model will be fine if you don't fancy opening the computer's case.

I wouldn't worry too much about compatibility - I've used any number of different wireless adapters with BT home hubs, and have never encountered a problem.

My husband built the computer so I think he will be gleeful about opening it up again...!

Any recommendations on PCIs?

Thanks again.
