How to isolate a PC from a network

Does anyone know of any software, that would isolate a PC from its network, the moment that there is any hint of the presence of malicious software being present?

AV with built in firewall

Kaspersky will disconnect from a site if it suspects it is dodgy.

No. Ransomware is likely to be detected if it uses suspect code. The problem was that the systems weren't patched and did not have decent virus checkers. In any case neither will prevent stupidity in opening files that contain executables that aren't viruses or are NEW and can creep past generic tests.
